Instant video messaging is one of WhatsApp's latest big features. These allow a new form of quick communication and many must use them on a recurring basis. Still, and because not everyone wants them, Meta is preparing something new to turn it off.
Don't want instant video messaging?
It was at the end of July that Mark Zuckerberg revealed WhatsApp's latest news to the Internet. Instant video messages were a complement to user communications, joining what already existed, but dedicated to voice messages.
This feature allows you to send short video messages to be more direct. They serve to complement what we write, but they simplify communication, by allowing the user to avoid having to write everything they have to say.
But as not everyone wants to have this new option, which competes with instant voice messages in the WhatsApp interface, Meta is preparing something new. In the WhatsApp configuration area, there will be an option to disable this new feature.

Meta is already preparing this WhatsApp news
This new option is still being tested, both on Android and iOS, with users who use the beta version of these apps. Meta hopes that the new feature will soon be made available to everyone, in one of the next updates for these customers.
Please note that users who disable instant video messages are only prevented from sending them. They also have the possibility of receiving these communications from other users who belong to their contacts.
When this new option is available, it will give users even more freedom. If many can or want to use instant video messaging on WhatsApp, many others simply want to eliminate the new feature in order to have a simpler interface, just as Meta intends for WhatsApp in all its versions.
